About our founder & owner: Ali Laamiyar
Ali Laamiyar, founder & owner of Wild Desert of Morocco, is native Bedouin, born in the Sahara. Although his family now lives in a city, Ali has a deep love of the desert, and currently makes his home near the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Ali is an experienced tour guide and organizer, having worked in the tourism industry since he was a teenager. He started his own company, Wild Desert of Morocco, in 2016. A modern nomad, Ali has travelled extensively in Morocco and can show you the best that this beautiful & diverse country has to offer!
Ali speaks fluent English, Italian, Moroccan Arabic (Darija), Hassania (Bedouin language) and Berber, as well as some French and Spanish. He has also speaks bits and pieces of other languages as well, picked up from years of interacting with tourists from all over the world.
Lhossin Laamiyar, Ali’s brother, has also spent several years working in the tourism industry, both working in hotels and leading desert tours. Lhossin speaks English, Moroccan Arabic (Darija), Hassania (Bedouin language), and Berber.
Between them, Ali and Lhossin attend to every detail of your custom Morocco tour. They ensure that your every need is met so that your trip runs smoothly. They want you to have the best experience possible!
